One day my brother and I decided to go on a little hiking adventure up Multnomah Falls. Ascending the trail towards the falls we both suddenly took notice of a secluded area of forest just off the beaten path. Without hesitation we ventured towards this unknown nook of the woods equally intrigued by what new scenery would await us. As we entered this beautiful and hidden place we both became like children, parting ways to explore what we would. I climbed atop a giant mossy rock and stared up into the treetops. I instantly found myself captivated by the indescribable beauty of the world around me. The sun was just breaking through the canopy of trees as drops of rain fell softly through their leaves and branches filling the air with a warmth and glow that was almost ethereal.

This was one of the many moments in my life where I found myself longing to share with others the awe-inspired emotions that made this particular experience so profound.

If I could have wrapped up this moment and given it as a gift to a loved one...I would have.

Over the past several years, I have found that I can use my camera to do exactly that.

I love and cherish every opportunity that I am given to capture the beauty hidden inside of every moment of life.

I have a special place in my heart for working with children and I am continually amazed by the abilities they have to teach us more than we could ever teach them.


I currently reside in Portland, Oregon and am so grateful for the constant blessings that I receive on a daily basis. The most powerful of these recent gifts has been my marriage to Jordan Lamb. It sure makes it easy to count your blessings when you are married to such an amazing person.
